Founded by Creative Director Ebony Round, Ivory Design began back in 2005.
Inspired by a love for exceptional design, Ivory Design (call us ID for short) has evolved from the early years of print-based design to encompass the whole gamut of modern design, marketing and digital communications. We’re very proud that some of our first clients remain part of the ID family. And that our tribe keeps getting bigger.
Much like many great success stories, ID began in a tiny spare bedroom, when Ebony was still very green to the industry. In 2012, we settled into a larger studio space centrally located in beachside Melbourne.
Our creative studio space in Somerville is very much a second home, scattered with leafy plants, artwork roughs, colour swatches and family snapshots pinned to the walls. It’s where we forge the magic. Client collabs happen in Mornington and offer you a chance to workshop or plan with us while enjoying fresh air and beach village inspo. Of course, we are readily available for online meets too.
Even though we’ve grown older, bolder and a bit wiser, we’re still the same friendly, chatty bunch we’ve always been. We’re not afraid to have fun, and we love to laugh (mostly at ourselves!)
Cookies are delicious, but we do not believe in ‘cookie cutter’ design. Instead, our team are always polishing up on techniques and sharpening our tools to ensure our concepts are ‘cutting edge’. We pride ourselves on cleverly crafted authentic solutions where no two projects are ever the same, even yours.
We treat our staff, clients and suppliers with respect and kindness and like to do business with those who share the same values. A gold class work ethic is embedded in our bones. We try to get the work/life balance right, working with purpose during the day so we can go home at five to our loved ones. Our mantra is ‘happy at work and happy at home’.
Our tight-knit team are a talented bunch who each bring a complementary skillset to the ideas table. We appear compact because we are, and that’s the way we like it!
